The Oil Sands Trade Show & Conference has the full support of the Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA) - the world's leading group fo experts in the unconventional oil industry. The 8th annual Athabasca Oil Sands Conference, presented in conjuction with the CHOA, has expanded into a two-day format and will focus on topics that are led by the industry, for the industry.

| In 2007, the Oil Sands Trade Show & Conference successfully re-located into the 'global port to the oil sands' in Edmonton, Alberta from its humble beginnings in Fort McMurray. In 2008, the demand for more opportunities prompted an expansion into all of the halls available at Northlands (Hall A, B and C). With over 700 exhibiting companies from representing every aspect of the sector, the Oil Sands Trade Show offers more opportunities in a single event that any other in the world. |
