The Nomination Process

The Excellence in Energy Awards are aimed at recognising the brightest and best in business practice in the Middle East's energy sector.

Companies have been sending in their nominations over the last couple of months. The deadline has now passed and the judges will soon be making some tough decisions on who to shortlist for the Excellence in Energy Awards.

The Rules

1. The Excellence in Energy Awards are open to all energy related business within the GCC region who may wish to nominate themselves or a fellow member, customer or supplier. The nominated company must have a head office/regional office based in the Middle East.
2. All third party nominations must be made with the full knowledge and co-operation of the nominated company/nominee.
3. All submissions should relate to business activity within the company's most recent financial year.
4. Nominations can be made or received in more than one category, but separate nomination forms must be completed for each category.
5. The organisers reserve the right to retain entries for subsequent publication in relation to the awards. Information which companies do not wish publicised should be clearly marked.
6. Judges reserve the right to request additional material to support claims made in any nomination.
7. The organisers regret that the entries cannot be returned.
8. The organisers will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to entries.
9. Completed forms must be signed by the person making the entry.
10. If a member of the Judging Panel's company has been nominated for an award, the member of the Judging Panel cannot judge this category.
11. Finalists and winners are expected to take part in media interviews and photo shoots to promote the Excellence in Energy Awards 2009 before, during and after the event.
12. Reflex Publishing reserves the right to not present an award in any category if no satisfactory nominations are received.
13. The closing date for entries is close of business on 27th April 2009.
